This is a special event screening. Members who RSVP will receive passes for 2 (passes limited). Please only RSVP if plan to attend, if you can't make it, please return to the site and change your RSVP so other members can attend.

Comment by mark on June 17, 2009 at 11:27pm: Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I know the Spectrum is not usually the theatre that has screenings. Sounds like the made a few rookie mistakes. I would suggest to call the theatre and speak to the manager to voice your concerns. They need to know that they messed up! Unfortunately, tMC has no control how the screenings are run. I wish we did :)

Comment by Donna on June 17, 2009 at 11:07pm: This was my second event at the Harkins Spectrum 18. I was very disappointed with the way things were handled. I understand that they invite more people than they have seats, but come on! There were hundreds, I mean some where between 400-500 people there! I got there 2 hours early in 100 degree hear, got all the way to the front door after 7 p.m. only to be told that we weren't going in! Now they couldn't figure out earlier how many were going to make it? Why don't they do the humane thing and have people pick up tickets at the window. That way only the people that are going to get in wait in line instead of making hundreds of people suffer for nothing. I will not visit this theater again. I pay for more movies than I ever get free, but I won't be patronizing this theater. They should be ashamed.
