Animal House by far... do i even need to explain. Without AH there wouldn't even be an Old School.

As funny as Old School is, it will never be able to top Animal House in my mind.

I just re-watched Old School two days ago and still enjoyed it, (7.0/10.0) but for originality and such, Animal House was the founder of the frat films. While the two are both 7.0/10.0's in my rating book, Animal House wins for being the original flick.

You are insane, Wedge! The movie was great, however, John Belushi with this line: "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!?! Hell no! And it ain't over now!" That was great. Don't know if he had a great ass tho. He also played a fabulous zit! Now that is range, dude.

I had to pause and think, Old School. Hmmmm.... OH YEAH, the Will Farrell movie.
Animal House? No pausing there.
While there are scenes from Old School that are hilarious, the movie in its entirety doesn't measure up to Animal House.
Still, I'd watch either one of them again, right now!

Animal House by a landslide! It's THE original that STILL has homage paid to it by other films/t.v. shows/etc.

If old school can stand the test of time like animal house then maybe you can make an argument about it but until then Animal House of course.

Old School has Will Ferrell in it, so that means it automatically loses based on the fact that he isn't funny and ruins most movies he's in. Animal House has so many quotable one liners which is what really makes a comedy special. Old School feels like a bunch of recycled crap I've seen and heard before stuck together in a plot they want to pretend is original so that those who are ignorant will buy tickets.

Old School was horrible, Will Ferrell aside. No idea why people liked it. I didn't laugh once. Not a single time...
