So, for all of those who saw it, what did you think?

I thought, whoa, this movie is f'ing creepy. I liked it alot actually, I guess I have a scare fetish idk.

Nice to see that Jennifer Carpenter can do something else besides be a brother to a serial killer.

See thats what I liked about it, it made people laugh at the horror, it had the random violence but it wasnt extreme about it, like some of those rob zombie movies that just go over the top and are dumb.

You cant say the last 5 minutes when the theatre was silent when they were upstairs wasnt creepy.

First of all: Sidekick? Bwahaha, that's rich.
Second: This movie was pretty awesome. I haven't actually been scared by a movie in a long time(honestly, I think Signs was the last movie to have me this scared). The people who were laughing really need to get their heads checked. If they think violence is funny, maybe they should be locked up. It wasn't funny, it was supposed to be brutal and visceral. The characters were frightened and didn't have much to fight back with, that's why they were smashing heads with hammers, cameras, fists...whatever they could find. The end was just so tense, I was literally shaking after the movie. I'm scared of the dark again...
Third: Movie wasn't perfect. Now, I hated all the people who complained about the camera in Cloverfield (my favorite movie of 08). But in this one, the camera was REALLY distracting. It started off fine, but after they were in the apartment, the camera was never in focus. It would have been fine if the guy was just some dude with a camera, but he was a professional cameraman. When they were interviewing the opera teacher and his protege, the camera man kept panning back and forth and zooming in and out...which was stupid. And the elevator scene nearly gave me a seizure. Why the hell was the light flashing on and off? The only part where I thought the characters did something stupid was when they ran back downstairs to check the mailboxes to figure out where the super lived...THEY RECORDED THE CONVERSATION. CHECK YOUR DAMN CAMERA, MORONS.

Anyway, awesome scary movie without being overtly gory, which is the sad path most horror movies have gone lately.

Whatever dude, you just had to inflate your non exsistent ego by calling yourself the awesome, and wear a shirt that says your awesome every time were around these people :P

And I agree, it not being focus was getting irritating, but it was creepy, and much smarter than the other uber gross outs as of late.

Dare I say some of you are getting..........old?

Whoa, dont take any of that seriously, I was being completely sarcastic, and I am sure so was Danny.

My nickname at work is "The Kid" and my main defense is to call the people I work with old, so force of habit.

And I dont think he was talking about your opinion of cloverfield, but we saw that before we learned about TMC, and I remember on some of the other forums we read/post on that was the main complaint about Cloverfield, so its kind of a touchy subject between us.
