I just went to Bath Junkie and scrubbed with some salts. I have VERY clean hands. I then bought some Strawberry/Fizzy Pop salts to take home. Couldn't resist.

The RIng because the story did not drag. It was very scary but also a thriller.

for all the whining about both being bad yes they were but that wasnt the question. the question is which is the best of the worst? to be honest i would go with the ring because just the idea of it is so far fetched and ridiculous that i literally expected rhonda shore of USA up all night to appear and tell me what i was watching. Besides Sarah Michelle Gellar made the movie the grudge and just her hottness is all i needed.

I have seen the first two Ring movies (Ringu out here) and the first two grudge movies (ju-on) like you said. The Japanese inspirations were much better than the American recreations.

I honestly feel that Japanese horror is lost on American audiences. We just aren't scared of ghosts like Japanese people tend to be. It's a culture thing I think. A lot of Asian horror (Korean, Chinese, Japanese) tend to be about ghosts and what not. Out here, we're worried about serial killers in masks and people hunting us down in our dreams.

hell ya go freddy. we are scared of these things because we dont revere our ancestors as they do in japan. instead we worry about people breaking in and killing us and robbing us and murdering us over 5 dollars.
