ok, i'd first off like to say that i am a huge Eli Roth fan, i know that his movies suck, but i'm just a huge fan of his flicks.

saying that, i'm going with Devil's Rejects. As sick and twisted as the Firefly family was, Zombie really does a good job of making you feel for them and in a way root for them. In hostel i really just wanted that fucking guy to die, he was sooo annoying and jeez, i'm glad he got his in the second one. f**k him, f**k him hard.

But DR is just a great flick, and zombie i feel is underrated as a writer, and as a director a bit. i like his flicks alot
Hmm, why not House of 1000 Corpses v. Hostel? Anyway, Devil's Rejects hands down. Hostel was actually a whole lot better than I thought it would be (part 2 is the biggest pile of cinematic crap), but The Devil's Rejects improved upon it's predecessor so much and did something different with the horror genre. And the ending is in the top 5 of my favorite movie endings ever, nestled between Dark Star and Cloverfield.
DR frightened the crap outta me, loved the characters. I walked away from the film, well, with what seemed like a film covering my entire body. I LOOOVE Rob Zombie as a Director and a Musician and the music he chose for this film makes it worth the watch alone. I'm obviously going with this one.
I have to admit, I have never seen Hostel.

But anything compared to The Devil's Rejects wouldnt fair to good.

Rob Zombie's movies are so nice to watch...

hands down... Devil's Rejects
I must need to watch DR again cause I didn't care for it to much I get the movie and what Rob was tiring to portray but the realism of the fact that hostel could happen and after that movie came out people that traveled and stayed in different countries where a little hesitant thats a powerful movie.
Yes.  See it again.

The Devil's Rejects was so much more memorable, and the characters were not only brutal but had style, and could be identified, more-so as villains, while the so-called killers in Hostel were just random people we don't really care about. So, Devil's Rejects all the way!

Good point, Shawna!
Hostel wins because it came out first. Being able to make audiences puke and not travel is a heavy hitter for me...
