Text message invites to special advance movie screenings

tMC only screenings?

What would guys think if we did more tMC *only* screenings? Let's face it, right now you share the line with movie goers from all different event promoters. But, what if the screening was JUST tMC members (and you friends/soon-to-be-members)??

IF we can pull it off, what would like to see happen? Free swag? Q & A session with the tMC staff? Rock Band contest and watch Mark totally biff the bass line on 'Easy'?

How many of you would want to see a contest to win a reserved seat in those coveted press/vip rows?

So I wont lie, I am way to lazy to read everything that David wrote, but I would love to see some rock band contests since that is my favorite game. I think (if I could grow a big enough pair) I would bust out the microphone on some Stay Alive, (and a few other easy songs I can manage) if the reserved seats are for a movie I really want to see. Sadly everyones ears would bleed, but it's all in good fun anyways, right? Also I think just in general it would be nice to have a tMC only screening so we can meet the other members, chat, basically a "meet and greet."

I, too, am part of a club where you are a member of the "test" audience. They are few and far between. A few a year. May even be the same David is talking about. For this group of guys you answer questions and I always try to get picked for the panel discussion at the end of it to help the producers and writers and director even further. The lead star usually ends up being there which is kind of a kick for me... why I don't know. It is fun, kinda special. So, I say go for it.

It's official. txtMovieClub will be having an exclusive tMC only screening of THE ROCKER, Wednesday, June 4th at Arizona Mills. Check out the events section for more info.

We are planning on having several pre-screening entertainment. The details are still be worked out, I'll post more once we confirm. Hope to see you all there!

You mentioned having a winner in the Press/Vip section screenings..

How about the first 5 or so people with tMC invites be allowed to sit there...

5 meaning ten more or less...

cause some people stand in line for hours on end, maybe being 5 or 6th in line only to realize that the few people in front of them are just saving spaces... and the next thing you know your like 20 to 30th in line.

but thats just me

I would love for this to happen...I really get pissed when I get off of work at 5 and try and see a movie that I got passes two from this website...only to see a line too long, in which they will have a packed house and can no longer fit anymore guests..so a waste of gas. I honestly thought it was just a college type event...but now it just seems that more older people are trying to get into these free movies. I am a film major in which I try and see every movie I can for educational purposes, influences and ideas and its hard to do that now.
