No, it is a game they are playing. There are these games called ARG's and Viral Campaigns. Basically, it gets you involved with the game as you are a player in the grand scheme of things. Companies like 42 Entertainment and others will utilize the internet, phones, email and Social Websites to get you involved. This may pertain to puzzle solving, document pickups and sharing info with others to complete the game. The Dark Knight had one called Whysoserious.com and the movie 2012 had www.theinstituteforhumancontinuity.com which is finishing this week. Currently there is one for The new Sherlock Holmes Movie. I was in my Uplander driving across Missouri the night of the Coast to Coast call. I was in the middle of a long solo road trip and was alone in the van. I have been listening to George and his predecessor Art Bell for a whole lot of years. By far the large majority of the stuff that callers talk about do not resonate any truth with me. But this messed me up bad enough that I turned the light on in my van and was as scared as a little kid after a nightmare.
The very first memory in I have from my life is of the slender man, (or something just like him). I was 3 years old my sister was maybe 2 months old. We lived in a tiny little house in Somerset KY, my sister and I shared a room. To make this story short, I was lying in my bed with my head under my pillow. The slender man was on the opposite side of the room doing something to my sister. I remember trying to scream, but nothing coming out. I laid there for a long time watching him, from time to time he would turn around very quickly to look at me, and I would quickly close my eyes to fake being asleep. I was finally able to get a scream out and he turned and jumped at me. What I remember most, and what creeped me out the most about the show that night, was that the guy had no face. HE WAS FACELESS. If it wasn't for that, I probably would not have paid much attention to the caller. I pulled the covers over my head, and essentially waited to die. My mom and dad came running in the room, I heard some commotion, and my mom came to my side. A few minutes later my dad came back in the room, he was out of breath. They tried to convince me that it was all a bad dream. But I remember 2 things, 1) my sister had scratches on her face that weren't there the day before, 2) I have claimed to this date 41 years later that I was awake for some time and it wasn’t a dream.
Whether or not this is some internet hoax, this is the first time in my life that anyone I know of has had any type of similar experience.
Maybe I was dreaming, maybe this is a hoax, maybe the Marble hornets thing is a big fake, I just know what happened to me.
I am 44 years old, a born again Christian and a relatively good father and husband. I have been freaking out about this ever since that guy, and then the lady called George.
I don’t believe most of the stuff I hear on late night radio, and maybe the Slender Man is a fake, but I very much believe what I saw, and what I am finding out now that other people have seen, is more than chance.

First of all i would like to thank everyone for me shitting on myself just by reading these replies. And second, wow! This story can go so deep as early as the 1800's. People can come up with the craziest experiences or made up stories and I hope whatever comes out of this "slender man" is going to be a good thing. We need some more creativity like this nowadays. I wont bring the title of a certain recent movie (that sucked) up, but people are starting to get the idea of making stuff up more because of this movie and not just rewinding and reusing material that has already been used. It makes me feel proud and scared to read and watch all of these original ideas. I am hoping to read more into this in the near future. Oh and to my cousin Noel in the replies, thanks for leaving another frightened scar in my mind, and i will have to by another night light for my room because you told me to read and watch all of this stuff on the slender man!!! See you Thursday! :D

I think it's safe to say this particular story "MarbleHornets" is fake. There is still many unanswered questions regarding Slender Man sightings throughout the US though. Stayed tuned for the next entry - hopefully the Slender Man will pop back up.
