Text message invites to special advance movie screenings

PLEASE no more gofobo

I don't care how it makes it easier because of less people getting turned away at the door. People get turned away anyway. They can't make a simple functioning website. I've logged in 20+ times now trying to get Super 8 passes and I've had an account there forever.

Couldn't find a rant forum. Will anything be done if most or all people can't get passes that way? Will they get a slap, or will them saying 'sorry' fix everything and this be ignored? I've had nothing but problems with that site.

Hi Djinon

I can appreciate your frustration. And although I don't know exactly what type of issue you are experiencing, I am sure they are working hard to resolve any known bugs as a result of their recent makeover. You could help by sending an email outlining the exact issues (maybe even include screenshots) to their support department. I'm sorry that tMC can't provide you with any further assistance on this matter. As you know, txtMovieClub and gofobo are two separate operating entities who partner occasionally to provide members with more free movie screening opportunities.

Hopefully, just venting here helps a tiny bit :)

I feel your pain. I had the same problem with my Super 8 passes. Wasn't able to go because of Gofobo's jacked up website :(

Unfortunately, from what I understand. GoFoBo's new system was designed so that new people can start getting into screeners without as much competition. So the GoFoBo system is just what we are all going to have to work with.

I did experience a few glitches when trying to reserve my passes but then I got a message that I was successful in reserving my passes. The next day when I went into MyFobo to print them, it said I didn't have any screenings. I don't know what happened. I even got a reminder email from GoFoBo about the screening and that my passes were reserved.

Does anyone know if you can take an email like that to the screening (since it confirmed that I had 2 passes) or do you HAVE to have the actual passes?
