I really hope Brad Pitt wins for Moneyball, its his time.

Who do I think will win..... gotta get back to ya.   :)  Thanks for posting, Jason!!

There is talk again this year that the Box Office take for all the Best Picture films is really low. Not that quality equates to money, but Hollywood does seem to have a problem getting people to see movies - period. Also, the drop in attendance and total revenues does no look promising.

Has anyone figured out the Academy contorts the Best Picture list anymore? It used to be limited to 5 films. Then, it was bumped up for some reason to 10. Now it is 9... So what gives? How do they decide?

Because of the lower audience watching Academy Awards every year, it was decided to increase the number of films nominated for Best Picture UP to 10. That way, there would be more of a chance for the audience to have seen at least one of the movies nominated, so they'd have something to root for. This year, apparently there weren't 10 movies worthy of the nomination... either that, or the Academy totally forgot about "Jack and Jill"...

Bahahaha

Horrible Dave, horrible. LOL

Sorry Jason, that is the ONE person im rooting AGAINST!
