i have seen every single one of these flicks... in my mind The Hurt Locker is the best film of the year.... but i know Avatar will win.
but i voted with my heart and not my genius mind i would go with Hurt Locker every time

It makes me sad that Zachary Quinto wasn't nominated for Best Supporting Actor for playing Spock in Star Trek :(

I have seen all the movies Nominated. I enjoyed all of them differently. Although I think The Hurt Locker or Precious Should win Best Picture. I think Avatar will win because it appeals to a broader audience.

I have seen every one of these movies. I would love to see Up in the Air win. However, current sentiment seems to be angled toward Avatar and The Hurt Locker. I am loving that James Cameron is directly up against his ex-wife, Katherine Bigelow. I'm thinking there may be enough animosity in Hollywood toward Cameron that Academy members may vote for Bigelow as the anti-Cameron. I guess we'll see soon.
