Here's a line update. There are about 70ppl inside and about 40 outside. The outside line has about 10 ppl in the alley area so ur pretty good if u show up now.
Keep in mind, there might be some people next to the theatre you can't see (or people saving seats for their guests). For the capri, there are usually two sets of lines inside. Everybody still might be good-just giving a warning.
I checked with the theatre managers out here and they said there is only one line. There isn't anyone in line in front of the theatre. If there is anyone inside who can confirm this that would be awesome. Sometimes these theatre ppl don't know what their talking about.
There is only one line inside. However, everyone who won their tickets through the radio is going to start lining up by the door and be let in first. The GM estimated only about 200 people are going to be let in.
Basically, no matter what...don't leave til the movie starts. Even if they can't guarantee a spot at 6:30. I have been told I might not get in before and then got in as the show was starting. There is always a chance people don't show up and in this case, the management has every intention of making sure the roped off sections are filled if the people on lists don't show up. They usually do this anyways, but the management is going to push it for the people running the screening just because they know this one is popular.
the only thig they did not tell you is that no one on the outside line is going to get in because they have over 400 garrunted seats that were already filled before so 90% of the people waiting got screwed.
No, they had said 400 seats were roped off and that fact was posted yesterday. It was posted on the events page yesterday for the movie as soon as I found out about it. The managers have no control over how many seats the studio/people running the screening say to hold. It does suck because people always don't get in and this movie was extremely popular. There were alot of contests on different stations and they were guaranteed seats when they won tickets. So it did suck this time. I was going to attend the screening today, but my husband had to work late.
That's not to say I would not be disappointed if I had not gotten in. But I also realize with how popular screenings, more people show up and they tend to be earlier. Plus you have the people who save spots in line for their guests and so the inside line is always bigger than it appears. It is hard to judge by the line. I know I have waited outside before and not gotten in.
