What? No entries so far? Doesn't anyone want to skip the line and sit in VIP reserved seat luxury? Think of it, you and 3 of your friends hobnobbing arm in arm with the reviewing press. I believe I am the best candidate for enrollment to Razvan because I am only a few credits away from a degree I started in 1976 so my scholarship won't cost you much...Also, among other classes I took back in the day, was a class on Dracula and Frankenstein (followed closely by Arturian Legend). This gives me a unique edge in dealing with the local folk. One more thing...my kids are about to go to college and planning on sticking around the house for another few years...frankly, I could use the break by going out of the country and letting them take care of the house for a while.

If I win this contest, I will take my kids to the movie with me though. They're good kids and LOVE vampires...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it.

Dear Admissions Board of Razvan Study Abroad Program,
I am sending this admissions essay because I have been looking for a great opportunity to visit the old countries of Europe. The beautiful brochure photos of your school, combined with the outstanding extracurricular activities offered, present a school and abroad program that I have been looking for. I have heard great things from friends; it sounds like I would be able to learn a lot from the students in your program. I have been boning up on my studies of the history and culture of the school's area of Romania. To be honest, I could really use a change of scenery for this semester. I know it's a little late to apply, but I'm hoping there will still be an open space in your program for me. Also, I'm sure it's not as biting there as it is here. (The winter weather, that is.)
