Hi All-
Over the next few weeks you are going to notice some changes with txtMovieClub's mobile platform. We are in the process of replacing our shortcode, 95201 with 69863. The new code brings about greater stability and increases our "reach" from 7 carriers to over 60 (including Cricket and Virgin). Cool, huh?
So what exactly is the impact? Glad you asked... As many of you may have experienced lately, text messages have been going out seemingly randomly, or not at all, or to various members, but not others, etc. It's actually quite crazy. Verizon notified us that they were terminating 95201 on their system; we had the opportunity to fix it, but it wasn't worth it. With the new move comes some better features that we hope to roll-out sooner rather than later.

So I think that's it for now. Please feel free to drop me a line if you want to help with testing or have any other questions about what we're doing. And feel free to text MOVIE to 69863 - if you get a message from txtMovieClub.com, then you're going to be setup perfect for the next stages. If you get anything else, chances are the carrier's have not yet approved our program on their network, so you might get a "carrier denied", "subscriber denied", etc.
We are most likely not going to go live with the new code until we get official approval from the "big 4" (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint), but here is where we stand right now. And don't worry, the process with carrier's and approval's is as clear as mud:

What's coming/here:
- Changing your phone number on your profile will cause a text message confirmation to be sent to your phone.
- We will no longer have "TMCABQ" or "TMCSEA" - everyone will use MOVIE as the keyword to be a part of.
- Email might be used during outages now - make sure your email is updated on your profile!
- If you have an invalid phone number, we will attempt to email you before the event closes so you can update it before the blast.
- If you have any issues, please email Support@txtMovieClub.com. This is the QUICKEST and most efficient way of getting a response to your answer.
- Our support staff will be getting better tools that provide insight into carrier-related issues as well - this will expedite the support process.
- And finally, we're re-building our text messaging platform. Believe it or not, it's incredibly complicated to "just send" text messages!

Just got the update - AT&T is in! Stay tuned - we will be transitioning to the new code in the next few weeks - so stay tuned.
ALSO - You will NOT have to do anything to be apart of 69863. Anyone who entered their phone number onto the website is automatically "opted in" to whatever means of pass delivery we offer. So to reiterate, you do not need to do anything with our new code in order to receive passes. To test your connection to our servers, please text REGISTER to 69863 for now.
