My friend and I are just not sure what time to come . We went to the Cina Capri showing of the 1st Transformers a month or so ago and the only reason we got in was because people thought they were seeing the 1st one . So we want to be extra prepared this time any suggestions?
9am, even that is hardcore, but I won't be able to get out of here till 2pm, so I will be there at 230pm. But I should be pretty okay to see the movie, that is if no one cuts in line. Which, for this movie, I will let my voice be heard. Also dependant on the 1 in 6 chance of passes at the moment.
well i am going with my son... they have that summer movie for kids and they are showing Madagascar 2, so might as well get my spot and check out a movie or 2 during the day
For any of those lucky enough to get passes, get there as early as possible. I know from the managers at least 400 seats will be roped off in the Capri due to the press and other groups that are helping with the screening. So seating will be limited.
The studio/representatives always give out more passes because they want to assure a full house. That is why every pass states the pass does not guarantee a seat. The theatre does not give out passes, it is the people who run or sponsor the screenings that do. Different groups get a different amount of tickets. Sometimes the screenings are not that full (or fill up right at showtime), but most of the time there are lines and people are always turned away.
I wasn't talking about the studios or the theatre, I was talking about txtmovieclub's RSVP'g system. What's the point of THIS website asking people to RSVP to a VERY popular movie when 75% of the seats are already taken (i.e. the studios, the local radio stations, the local stores, etc)??? That's not an advance movie screening that's a PRIVATE MOVIE SCREENING.
Even the KTAR rep felt bad at about it and started giving away prizes to THE END OF THE LINE when he realize more than 100 people weren't getting in. Yes, we were one of those "idiots" that showed up at 4:30.
