My worst summer job was having to clean house and take care of my younger siblings without getting a paycheck for it. Oh wait. Maybe that wasn't a job. I must of been a slave. If you don't get paid doesn't that make you a slave?
I had to work in fields...and cross pollinate corn. Which basically, it's walking up and down a million rows of corn stalks and putting little baggies over parts of the stalks and it was really hot which made it so much worse. I was 17, and it just wasn't the kind of job for a girl like me. Not only did I have to do that all day...but I also had to hoe the fields, and try to kill all the weeds, and carry a bunch of tools around in the heat. Not to mention the people in charge were anti-water breaks, so I felt minutes away from passing out from the heat the entire time. It was torture...pure torture. I will never do any kind of work like that again.
we were golfing from the back yard with the driver. basically we broke multiple windows of a laudrymat about a block down the street. as a punishment for my friends dad having to pay for the damages cause were didn't have any money, we had to pick out chest high weeds with rats and mud and mosquitos biting us everyday for a month! next time we use the driver and hit golf balls we're smart enough to not go looking for our golf balls and just let them keep them! got stupid trying to save money getting golf balls and got caught! did i mention the land we had to pull the weeds was huge!!! xtra large!@
My worst summer job was working for my grandparent's company. My entire family works there so not only was i spied on CONTINUOUSLY, but i only made $6.00 and hour and was forced to scan documents into a computer for 3 months without end.
My worst summer job was detassling corn on a farm in Indiana when I was 14. Get up at 4 am to be taken to the middle of nowhere and basically sit in a bucket on either side of a tractor pulling out the top portion of the corn stalks as it moves through each row. 12 hours of that a day for a few weeks did me in. I made the mistake of not having gloves the first day and with the water on the leaves it felt lake razor blades cutting into my skin. Lots of respect for anyone who has the strength for that type of work. I don't count myself one of them.
Okay my worst summer job was in high school working at McDonalds. I was training at the filet-o-fish and fries stations. It absolutely sucked. I burned my prissy little fingers. I only lasted 2 days. Hahaha... Didn't return my uniform and had it in my closet for many years after that. My teenagers saw it and had a field day with that one. I love fast food but not serving it. I give fast food employees credit. I was not cut out for it at all;)
Worst summer job: One time, a guy paid me to not be awesome for a whole summer, just so he could look more awesome by comparison. It was tough to not be awesome for that long.
Large please.
My worst summer job was working for a company(can't name names) where I had to clean houses(including toilets) and run errands for old people, Aids patients, and "not there" mentally people. My hours were so scattered and I only made $7.00/hr. I was not reimbursed for gas either. Had to get a series of shots(Hep B vaccines) before working there because of the people I'd be working around. What can I say? I HAD to work!!! That, by far, topped my worst job ever list!!!!! Size small please!
My worst summer job was working for a movie theatre in Scottsdale, the pay was awful, $6.75. and some of the people were even worse. The people who I worked with would smoke weed and do drug's just to make the job more interesting. While working concession's the customer's would ask me to deliver their food to their theatre, and put a specific number of ice cubes in their drinks. And then of course there was cleaning the theatres, it was hellish, people leave full meal's scattered all over the ground that takes 20 minutes to clean up. Although in this economy, I might have to start considering them again, ARG!!!
T-shirt size- Small prefferably, but will take any t-shirt size and make it work :-)
One summer, about two years ago, I decided to save up money and buy a new cell phone, the cell phone was around $200 and i decided that I wouldn't get an offical job that I would do short term yard work for the neighbors. After a few lawns I mowed and pools I cleaned I came across the neighbor across the street from me. He told me that he had a backyard he needed to clean up, so I thought to myself that it's nothing I can't do, so we both agreed on $50, what a mistake, the weeds were up to my waist as if it was a jungle, it took me close to a week to finish it up and with the temperatures in Arizona the heat was flaming, if it wasn't for the hose in his back yard I would of got dehydrated or a heat stroke. The only good thing I got out of this experience was he gave me a $10 tip... :(
