All time favorite foreign films
The only movie from India I've seen are Bollywood movies.
Dhoom I & II are my favorites, serious fast action thriller with a sprinkle of dancing and singing for comical relief. Good music, costumes and amazing hard bodies. As I'm writing this, I found out they're coming out with Dhoom III.

Latest Chinese film: Red Cliff (Great movie about strategies of war with flying people and swords.)

My favorite is Audition, a Japanese Thriller. It's an excellent movie. It really gets moving once she gets the call!

Having seen many foreign films, among my favorites:
Au Revoir Les Enfants
La Belle et la Bete
Priceless
Amelie
Babette's Feast
Cinema Paradiso
Pan's Labyrinth
Persepolis
Waltzing with Bashir (perhaps the best documentary I have ever seen!)
Death at a Funeral (I know it's in English, but still a foreign film)[It's roll on the floor funny in case you haven't seen this one yet!!!]
While only partly in Chinese with the rest in English, I would be remiss not to mention The Children of Huang Shi. This one came out a couple of years ago, rent it!
I own all of these, and I don't buy very many movies. There are a few that I haven't mentioned, some of which I need to remind myself of because they are VHS and boxed. If anyone wants suggestions, I could recommend any number of others.
There were some good ones that I loved once that I could never buy because you can only watch them once. -
