Comment by Victoria Chavez on June 14, 2011 at 11:39am Thats what happened saturday, I think Chris said to someone, "hey we have this many ppl, if you wanna go ahead of us". I do notice the oldies get their feathers ruffled a little about that.....
Comment by coyotecat on June 13, 2011 at 12:10pm I think, well I have done this. After attending so many screenings some people will actually say to you... I have this many people coming so you sit back a bit to accomodate them. And you do get a sense of who is there, and how many people they weill alway have with them. Its more or less the new people that complain. But I have seen some of the older folks go a tirade when people save for people and they get ahead of them. Yet no one complains to them when they do the same thing. It just happens.
Comment by coyotecat on June 7, 2011 at 9:38am Its like Patrick the movie rep guy always says at times...

Comment by Justin G on May 31, 2011 at 3:51pm I'm going to start campaigning to any of the management that will listen to me about more organization with screeners. Anyone want to help?
Comment by Victoria Chavez on May 31, 2011 at 12:25pm @shari, there are lots of ways to fix these problems.... the problems is, will anyone be able to abide by the rules. My answer would be..(drumroll) some will and some won't..lol. It bothers me that they look at us that way, but those are the opinions of asses themselves..lol I had someone say maybe they should start giving numbers, or here's a good one, there was this lady a few screenings back who was yelling at movie management. Her chair didnt fit in the isles they made, and she kept taking down the retractable belt..the guy was very cool about it, but maybe he should of just took her out completely since those types of people cause the problems and make us look bad anyway. There are lot of ways to fix it, but can we get the full cooperation of the group??
Comment by Shari on May 31, 2011 at 11:23am The reason I don't even like to attend screenings a lot is this. I know a manager at A particular theatre chain and most managers opinion of us "pains in the asses" are quite low. We get there early so they have to do more work. (Boo Hoo!) We wander around the theatre and now they have to watch us. We complain and bother them. Btw, complaining is what gets them most.
Okay... they don't have time to listen to us bicker back and forth so this sort of thing needs to be monitored by us ourselves.
This discussion I had last week with my manager friend made me so angry because this is a friend of mine who looks at all screening members as jackasses and that DOES include me. Not much of a friend, clearly. SOOO... what can we do to fix this? Ideas?
Comment by Victoria Chavez on May 31, 2011 at 10:00am but haven't you ever notice the ppl complaining are the ones in the wrong?? it's free and I am just happy to be a part of it.
