- My name is Amanda I am a mother of 3 beautiful children, a wife and a sister in Christ I home school 2 of my children in the grades 3rd and 5th, let me tell you it takes a lot of dedication, but it is well worth the sleepless nights. I am active in my church, I absolutely love my Family in Christ, I try to do whatever I can to contribute. One big part of what I do on my own for our church family is I stay in touch with as many missionaries as I can, I am in the midst of creating a well needed library for the church members, a very challenging job . Bringing a challenge or a job in front of me, only gives me "Absolute Service." I use my skills and my willingness to accomplish task ,that were giving to me, by "God." Not to get anything in return. I do what I do, so that I can just put a smile on a face, give a little one a little gift of hope. Help individuals in need of encouragement. (which usually includes Teens and Adults).If you were to take about 5 minutes of your time to listen to a missions family, who are in other parts of the states, you will understand why I do what I do. I have spent a lot of my mid to older years in life concentrating on being a mentor and an encouraging up lifter. God gave me a gift of being able to communicate with just about anyone. I don't know how I do it, or why I was given this task. I just do, and I love every minute of it. I love to do crafts,another passion in my life is writing, I have written journals, short stories and on for as long as I can remember. Writing is a way for me to express myself, to let go of any feelings that I may have bottled up inside, or feeling of joy that I want to share. What ever the case may be I write. I just add a little spice to my writings . The most important thing to me is to help with "Wisdom,Knowledge and "Understanding" with out any of the above: life can become very dark and lonely . When I was young, I wish that I had someone to run to, someone that would give me encouraging words, someone that would let me know that everything will be okay. For all that someone, that would tell me that all I had to do was get on my knees and "Pray". It took a few years for me to understand that "Prayer" is a powerful thing. Because you are talking to the "Father Above", he is with you at all times of your life good, bad, evil,nice. He will never let go of your hand, but unfortunately we as humans tend to let go of his because we are not perfect. With out "Him" there is nothing, for he is life and life is him. Now I am not saying that I am here to preach to you, because I am far from learning all that I can when it comes to his word. I do know enough to know, that his path is the only path to walk. I work hard everyday to keep my children, husband,friends and family on the path of Glorification, Sanctification and Salvation. It can be a big job for one person. So I depend on my "Divine Gospel". It tells it all. I can sit here and tell you all about how my life was not the best life in the world, how I was widowed at the tender age of 28 while being pregnant with my daughter and having a 1 1/2 yr old son and a 5 year old son, how men took advantage of me, loosing my mother for a few years. Not in flesh but in spirit, battle of cervical cancer last August, resulting in a complete hysterectomy. But why, when I have learned "Heavenly Peace". I am one of the most out going, all around woman you will meet. I can be serious when I need to. As I can be fun and funny.Thank you all, and God Bless.
