Hate making f#@king lists but here is my shitty list of Films of 2011 I liked...

      Like the title says I hate making lists especially a Top Films of Year XX because then you have to think about all the shit you watched for that year and then you have to see if it was released in the proper year especially for the foreign movies. On top of that then you have to fill it with X amount of films to fulfill your list then people are going to bitch and moan and then it becomes a competition. Well here is the films I liked, write a complaint below if you hate the list or go fuck yourself whichever you prefer.

*ommitting HP 7 pt. 2 from this list because it was not the complete sequel

10) The Help- Tough film to watch but overall a good film. Octavia Spencer should definitely get a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role as Aunt Minny.

9) Win Win- A fun little quirky film with Paul Giamatti and newcomer Alex Shaffer directed by Thomas McCarthy (Station Agent).

8) Hanna- Literally had flashbacks of Dark Angel watching this film for some reason. Another underrated film directed by Joe Wright.

7) Sarah's Key- A great film that a tMC member highly recommended and loved every moment of the film. 

6) Warrior-  A little too predictable in my opinion but loved the MMA fight scenes and (oh yeah) drunk Nick Nolte that we all love is back. Also wished this got more recognition maybe it was too much free screening campaigns that they had. Can't wait to see Tom Hardy as Bane in TDKR although judging from the previews maybe needs subtitles for his yuckmouth dialogue.

5) The Artist- Very minimal dialogue in this film but kept me entertained throughout the film. Loved the chemistry between the 2 main characters.

4) Rise of the Planet of the Apes- Only thing I hate is the wordy title but Andy Serkis should definitely get a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. I was not expecting much from this movie by its franchise history and it just came out of nowhere and knocked it out of the park. 

3) The Devil's Double- Wish this film got more recognition than it did and a Best Actor nomination for Dominc Cooper for his dual roles.

2) Drive- This is a film that has had a great divide amongst people who have seen it. Either you love it or hate it, I actually loved everything about this film although it had a slow beginning. I think the trailer was a bit misleading hence for peoples distaste for the film but this is my favorite U.S. release this year by far.

1) I Saw The Devil- Hooooooollllllllyyy SHIT! LOVED this gritty film, basically what if the hunter (serial killer) becomes the hunted by the victim's husband? Go do yourself a favor and go rent this along with another great flick which came out last year called The Chaser (would have made my list as well had it been released this year) both great films to watch back to back. I guarantee you will love both.
